MIMESYS is a project to create AI humanoid K-pop idols under the value of Beyond Mimesis. MIMESYS proposes a new type of K-pop artist experience, using the structure of AI's imitation and mimesis as a starting point.
AI's learning takes place in the process of imitating and reconstructing existing reality and content. MIMESYS defines this as a creative system that is newly interpreted in the relationship between ideal and reality, not just replication. In this process, AI idols go beyond the representation of existing idols and expand into artists with expressions and identities in another way.
Based on this perspective, MIMESYS builds humanoid artists that organically combine music, narratives, and visuals based on AI technology. Through a meta-approach beyond imitation, we want to explore new directions that will develop AI idols into a genre and sustainably scalable entertainment IP.
